Disability Awareness
Approximately one in five people in the UK have a disability. In this module, we investigate the challenges they face in the workplace, the impact of discrimination on their lives, and how you can help to build a more inclusive, effective work environment for all.
Objectives
- Have an expanded awareness of what constitutes a disability
- Know how discrimination can negatively impact someone with a disability
- Be able to foster positive working relationships with colleagues with disabilities
